Soundcore Sleep A20
Soundcore (Anker)Ranked #3

Soundcore Sleep A20

The A30's predecessor, and still the lowest-cost true sleep earbud from a major brand. It has no active noise cancellation; instead Anker's Twin-Seal ear tips, Air Wing fins and a masking sound library block noise passively, which works best on higher-pitched sounds. Its battery is the A20's strong suit: up to 14 hours per charge in Sleep mode (10 hours streaming over Bluetooth 5.3) and 80 hours with the case. A motion sensor tracks sleep position and movement, and a private alarm wakes only the wearer. Headphone Check and netzwelt.de both rated it comfortable for side sleepers, with Headphone Check adding that larger ears may feel some pressure. It now typically sells well under its $149.99 launch price.

Our Verdict

The cheapest true sleep earbud from a major brand, and the longest-lasting earbud for the money: up to 14 hours per charge in Sleep mode and 80 hours with the case, against 7-9 hours with ANC on the A30. It keeps the A30's private alarm, masking library and sleep position tracking. It ranks just below the A30 because it has no active noise cancellation, so low-pitched snoring leaks through its passive Twin-Seal tips, and its buds are larger. Against the headbands below, it wins on noise blocking, built-in sleep sounds, the silent alarm and tracking, none of which a headband offers.

Ozlo Sleepbuds 2

Ozlo

The second generation of the sleep earbuds Ozlo built from Bose's discontinued Sleepbuds program, launched in July 2026. At 1.6 g per bud and about 11 mm tall, they are the smallest and flattest earbuds in this list, which is what matters most when one ear is pressed into a pillow all night. Battery life rises from the original's 10 hours to up to 14 hours, so they now outlast a full night with streaming. There is no active noise cancellation: Ozlo relies on silicone-tip isolation plus more than 50 built-in masking sounds that play from the buds themselves, and a private in-ear alarm wakes only you. The Smart Case adds a button for sleep sounds and alarm snooze and logs bedroom noise, light and temperature. Gizmodo found them comfortable for side sleeping but called the $279 price hard to justify.

Soundcore Sleep A30

Soundcore (Anker)

Anker's sleep earbud with active noise cancellation, and the strongest noise blocker in this list. Its Smart ANC targets low-frequency sounds such as snoring, traffic and appliance hum, and its charging case listens for snoring and adjusts the masking audio in real time. SoundGuys measured better low-frequency isolation than the noise-blocking Sleep A20 and reported the buds stayed in place overnight without pillow discomfort, but measured only about 7.5 hours with ANC on (Anker rates 7-9 hours depending on mode) and found the touch controls unreliable. It adds sleep position and snoring tracking, built-in alarms and binaural-beat sleep audio. Anker launched it at a $229.99 list price, and it has since sold for well under that.

MUSICOZY Bluetooth 5.4 Sleep Headphones Headband

MUSICOZY

One of the most-rated sleep headbands on Amazon, with more than 26,000 ratings averaging 4.2 stars. Thin speakers sit inside a stretchy spandex-nylon band, so nothing goes in the ear canal; side sleepers who find any earbud uncomfortable often switch to this format. It streams over Bluetooth 5.4 with up to 14 hours of playback and charges in 1-2 hours. It has no built-in sounds, alarm or tracking, and blocks no noise beyond the fabric, so it relies on the phone playing white noise or audio. Tom's Guide, reviewing MUSICOZY's mask version, found it fine for white noise and calm music but noticed pressure and louder sound on the pillow-side ear when lying on that side; Amazon review analyses report the same speaker-alignment complaint.

SleepPhones Wireless by AcousticSheep

AcousticSheep

The original sleep headband, made by a Pennsylvania company since 2007 and reviewed by TechRadar, GearBrain and The Gadgeteer. Its current wireless version is rated at 24 hours per charge, the longest in this list, over Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC. Flat speakers are sewn into a soft fleece or cooler Breeze band offered in small, medium and large, and they lift out so the band can be machine washed. Reviewers found it comfortable for side and stomach sleeping but noted modest volume and bass and no noise cancellation. It costs several times more than the MUSICOZY band, still charges over micro-USB (about 4 hours), and its Amazon rating is notably lower, averaging about 3 stars.
