How they differ in real use
Built from our best battery phones scoring, each product's published specifications, and verified owner feedback — not hands-on testing.
Both the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus 15R made our Top 5 Gaming Phones, at #2 (best premium) and #4 (best value). ASUS confirmed it has no ROG Phone 10 for 2026 and has since exited the phone business entirely, and the ROG Phone 9 Pro it leaves behind is now out of stock across Amazon and ASUS's own store. The OnePlus 15 is the strongest mainstream stand-in: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 165Hz LTPO OLED display (higher than the ROG Phone 9 Pro's own panel), and a roughly 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging. Its triple-layer vapor-chamber cooling still throttles to about 60% of peak after 30+ minutes of sustained gaming load, per a HotHardware review, and it has no dedicated shoulder triggers. Value gaming champion with Snapdragon 8 Elite, highest 165Hz refresh rate, and 25+ hours battery at just $599. 100W charging means minimal downtime.
